What is Acai?
The Acai (pronounced Ah-Sa-Ee) Palm is native to tropical Central and South America from Belize to Brazil to Peru and in the Amazon jungle. Acai is known as the “super berry” due to the fact that it has almost everything you need – nutritionally – packed naturally into the berry itself. This includes Vitamin B1, B2, B3, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Phosphorus, Calcium, Potassium, Fiber, Proteins, and good fatty acids such as Omega 6 and 9.
